MLM‑Martin Architects, Inc. closed out 2025 with significant milestones that reinforce the firm’s long-standing reputation for thoughtful design, responsive client service, and leadership within the aviation, education, and public-sector markets.

A defining moment of the year was the firm’s leadership transition, as Miguel A. Martin, AIA, assumed the role of President and majority owner. This transition represents a strategic continuation of the firm’s legacy while positioning MLM-Martin for future growth and innovation. Founder Miguel L. Martin, AIA, continues to serve as Senior Vice-President, remaining actively engaged in mentorship, project oversight, and client relationships. Read more about the transition HERE.

“2025 marked an important evolution for our firm,” said Miguel A. Martin. “We are building on decades of trusted partnerships while continuing to look forward—planning, designing, and delivering spaces that serve our clients well into the future.”

Throughout the year, MLM-Martin advanced a diverse portfolio of projects, including athletic facility renovations at Apopka High School for Orange County Public Schools. These projects emphasized a complete redesign upgrade to softball and baseball facilities, improved accessibility, and enhanced functionality for students, staff, and the surrounding community.

The firm also maintained its strong presence in the aviation sector, participating in industry events such as MCO Means Business, hosted by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and wrapping up the iconic South Terminal C Phase 1 Expansion set to open in early 2026 at Orlando International Airport. This engagement reflects MLM-Martin’s continued commitment to collaboration, advocacy, and inclusion within the aviation industry, particularly through Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Small Business Enterprise initiatives.

Internally, the firm strengthened its operational foundation with key staff additions, supporting project delivery and long-term organizational stability. Across all markets, MLM-Martin continued to deliver architectural and interior design services grounded in experience, attention to detail, and forward-thinking planning.

As MLM-Martin looks ahead to 2026, the firm remains focused on delivering design solutions that balance operational needs, longevity, and user experience— while continuing to foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and the communities it serves.
